No. The reception quality decreases due to interference by rains. However you can view the DTH channels by using the appropriate size of dish antenna.
Most retailers would suggest you to go for a low size antenna but the size of the antenna is very crucial and has to be calculated by EIRP and foot-print coverage. We will shortly be adding this feature on our web-site wherein you will be able to calculate the antenna size yourself.
