for internet connection u need mtnl phoneline connection at home first time u have to pay 1300 Rs. 500 for modem , 500 for registration , 300 for installation ----------mtnl minimum plan 199 in this plan u will get 400 mb free and if u will use more then 400 then u have to pay 1 rs per mb and 50 Rs modem charge every month and 12.24% service tax

MTNL,TATA indicom, or even your local cable wala, all give internet connection these days
MTNL : 1503
TATA indicom: 6060 7070

If your usage is going to be less, go for MTNL; for higher data usage TATA or if our cable wala suits you
