Not at all. its a kind of experience for them. but it depends on their age. if its above 17 then they are capable of judging themselves. so no worries. one shall not feel that their parents are doubting him or her. and lastly they shall atleast fear their parents, then their freedom will be limited automatically.

No I dont think so.
Parents should give freedom to teenagers but it is his\her duty to think which is good or bad. If parents give more attention to their child they might get it negitively.
