Hi, The minimum time frame to get the passport after you have applied for the passport is 2 months. As you have said that you applied for the passport in April 2010 and still you have not received it.Please visit: passport.gov.com and select the stat where you applied for the passport then type the File Reference No. then it will give you the details of your passport. THEY RECIVE UR LETTER WITHIN 5 DAYS THEY TAKE ACTION AND ON 6 DAY U GET UR PASSPORT...go to passport office and find out or postoffice...you have to visit nearby police station to verify / complain.hope hiis eill...........check the status in the website. if it says delivered - ur passport must be lying in the local police station......apene shyad fitting nahi di hogi verna apka pasport kabhi ka bangaya hota...Hi jitin, Did you check
