In my point of view, Meditation is a mental discipline by which one attempts to get beyond the conditioned, "thinking" mind into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. Meditation often involves turning attention to a single point of reference. The main componenets that extracts from meditation is :
relaxation,
concentration,
altered state of awareness,
suspension of logical thought processes, and
maintenance of self-observing attitude.
we have to do meditation alteast an hour in a day. for that first we make ourselves to be self controlled for an hour. for first one week it might be very hard to sit later it may be practised. so try to do it atleast an hour. have a nice day.
