Not in all indian communities but in hindus only. the muslims, parsis & christians dont have such traditions. ya in muslims they kiss the hands of their elders or embrace them after the marriage another wonderful human being.That way the nature keeps it self fporever young....IT is not so in all the Indian communities, only Hindus have it.
