Religion is a matter of faith. Faith works wonders. There are people who have seen God. Seeing God does not mean seeing something with one's physical eyes. It is indeed a spiritual experience felt by the pious and the focussed. Some may scoff at the idea of seeing God and the associated spiritual bliss. But many do believe that it is a blissful experience undergone by saints who have the capability to sense the presence of God.

God...a being whose only definition is that he is beyond man's power to conceive. When Swami Vivekananda, the noted 19th century Indian philosopher-saint, began seeking God as a youth, he asked luminaries from all faiths and philosophies just one question: "Have you seen God?" None of the answers satisfied him till he met Ramakrishna, an illiterate Bengali mystic. When asked if he had seen God, Ramakrishna laughed and said: "But of course! I see Her the way I see you. I talk to Her everyday!"

The rational mind of young Vivekananda simply refused to believe Ramakrishna's words. Only later, as he became closer to the saint, did Vivekananda realize that Ramakrishna really did have a unique relationship with God—a relationship that was irrational and yet divinely logical, idiosyncratic and yet thoughtfully individual. For Ramakrishna, God was not out there as a reasoned-out persona; God was within. He was God. God was he.

To see God is nothing strange.In golden old times the Sages and the Mahatmas might have seen HIS magbificent appearance.In the modern times the vision has changed. A helper in difficult times is deemed to be God.That's a fact also.Sometimes God delegates His authority to a human being by kindling in him the desire to do good.At such times that is the aspect of God. Sometimes people see an aura (that is scientific) behind another person's profile.That aura is the God.The person habing it is more divine and the looker too is blessed for his good deeds or purity of soul.Go ahead and look piously and serenely upon an idol,intently.That idol will sometime appear like smiling and at other like non chalant.That is not a mirage.It comes due to the soundness of your soul.Maybe a very pious soul and a very devoted fellow may see God .That's no wonder.

Hi Vivek,
God is within us. IF u have faith in God, u can see him all around u, in every being, in every thing, in every act, in every word u speak/listen/read. If u believe in certain Guru or follow a Spiritual Guru, still u see him/her in a similar way. Its just matter of ur thoughts. What u think, u speak, what u speak, it turns into actions, ur actions in turn gives u the result. So, God is everywhere, in u, me nd others.

Is it like as if a fish asks where is sea?but we can take her out n let her see sea,but we cant be taken out of shristi.
Every thing of this shristi is god,without god there is nothing.
If somebody asks u ,where r u in side can you tell him the exact position of you.
Whole universe is a joint intity,there is no separation,all the planets,stars,every thing of this universe is joint ,single body,n parmatma is its soul.
In geeta u must have studied that lord krishna shows the arjun ,his virat roop,in which arjun sees all the things of this shristi in one ,that one ness is adwaita.the swaroop of bhagwan.
God is not person like ,uske darshan nahi ho sakte,uske jaisa hua jaa sakta hai.
Till a drop remain separate,it is mere a drop of water ,n when it merges in the sea,it becomes sea it self.
