A lot of people have abnormal periods and bad PMS symptoms, and going on the contraceptive pill really helps them. I know there are lots of connotations with the pill, like you're just trying to keep yourself from getting pregnant or something, but there are a lot of really good elements to being on the pill. For one, your period will always come at the same time, and it will end up being a normal number of days (something like 4).
