The addition of new IIT’s and IIM’s is a positive step from the Government and is likely to be solving unemployment problem in our country. The population explosion in India has created a state of confusion where the number of candidates has increased exponentially with years. The sudden implementation of reservation policy has further decimated the hopes of many brilliant candidates. Now the new institutes will likely to be helping hand in solving such problems. The next generation is likely to be fortunate enough to be part of such great positive step. The problem of brain-drain is added problem that has drained substantial number of persons from our country. If the big companies of India are there to deliver the needful to such great talents then the problem of brain-drain is likely to be solved. It is desired that the new IIT’s and IIM’s will be as competent as their predecessors as these institutes has high standards in our country.

To some extent. Besides creating IITs and IIMs, the govt should see that the education is accessible and within reach of all sections of the society without reservations. As the IITs and IIMs are increasing, the fees also escalating, making the education available only to a few..

Well Paromita, just creating new IITs and IIMs will not solve the problem of unemployment in India. The new IITs and IIMS will definatly bring the quality workforce which is very essential in India now.
