Doing kindness does not actually mean to be 'soft' and 'kind'. You are a selfish if you make it evident that you are being soft and kind. This means that you are asking for recognition for your kindness. You want people to know that you are good. Thats why you are soft. And thats why some of them take advantage of you. If you really want to help others, do practical good to them. Do what they really need. Being, so called, kind and soft spoken are only selfish behaviours. Selfish for making a nice guy image. And that is why some take advantage of the apparent 'nice guy'. Therefore stop appearing to be nice guy. Instead be a tough guy who also does nice things. Don't take the blanket of softness to help others. Just help them. No pretentions.
