Every individual has a different idea of religion. For some, religion is more important than anything, while some feel that it is barely a, incidental cause. Importance of religion is determined by your inclination towards following it. But, some things about religion always affect our lives. Like, Karma or food habits or difference between the good and the evil or morality. All said and done, religious tales are a set of governing rules which are meant to be followed. They are basically guidelines which govern are day to day life and our thought process. The fear of going to hell for doing wrong prevents many people from indulging in anything that constitutes wrong according to our religious folklore. It also gives us a kind of a belief and faith in something above this world, a sort of a system of accounting for our goods and evil.
