How far is the proverb “where there is a will there is way “is correct to motivate a person?  

As long as you are telling about way not destination.

if a person wants to motivate one self he can pick up what he wants...his choice...so what u say that line is also fine...but making up mind to be motivated is what the first step in beliving that u want to be motivated with any given line which gives u the energy to move forward achiving ur goals...all the best

where there is a will there is a way... it is a very effective motivational statement. if one understands the indepth meaning then it can do wonders. if you dream big, make adesire to achieve it and then convert that desire into a want, at a lot of dedication and devotion and hard work then you would surely get a way to reach your destination.

Ofcourse, where there is a will, there is a way. The greatest motivator is our belief. The determination to reach the goal is the will which shows our way. When we start a job, we go through stages of motivation & competence . But nobody can fail a person with strong determination....

This proverb is absolutely correct. Before you take up any job it seems a Herculean task but when in reality you put your hand on you see that it was not so as he/she thought. But the important thing is that there must be a strong will to do any work. The will itself works as a motivator to achieve success in his/her life. When Columbus had discovered America many had the sarcastic comment and then Columbus took up an egg and asked all present to stand the egg upright. None could do that and finally Columbus show them the way by just breaking slightly the slimmest nook of the egg and showed how it could stand on its own. Then all said that was easy. But then Columbus said why not others took the initiative then. This is a perfect example to state that ‘where there is a will there is a way.

The proverb holds good to motivate a person.If at all any failures are there they are due to kack of will and grit.failures are bound to be there and they should be treated as stepping stones to success.
