there is an installation software cd with it, to reinstall it configured automatically and install in xp too, so try this....as you said you were using that webcam in win98 this means you probably have all the drivers requires to run this webcam. now u are using windows XP so u dont have to install windows 98 for it. cos winxp will automatically detect your device and ask for drivers.just insert
