Mandir in the house should be faced in North-East direction according to Vaastu Shastra. Hi, It is usually not advisable for you to place your mandir facing washroom/loo. Face it towards the entrace of your house. It is believed, facing your mandir north-west also brings in positivity.Thanks

As i think the best place to keep Mandir in the house is North-East direction and when you are sitting for your Nitya Karma your face should also be towards North-East. Why it cannot be in kitchen simply because there remains no purety or do we keep our precious things in kitchen. No na. Then why should the Mandir.
