ten sport...Both are good but as I am a Cricket fan, I love Star Sports more....both cover sports all most through out the day,but people preffer mostly star...Star Sports.

No !For that India need to get rid off corruption in sports which is not possibleNeed more money to be spend on the facility of players but it goes in the pockets of politicians and sports and basic needs in life.In China from the very young age child is coached in his interested game. Sports is given more importance to study. Sports is primary and education secondary for sports loving students

If your son really wants to choose sports as his carrier the best thing will be to let him decide , as forcing him on any sports will adverse effect him. Make him play with you some sports like . Encourage him everyday, to play more the paticular sports he enjoys. Then enroll him into some institute or academy where he can master the skills, hopefully you shall see him as a sportsman one day. I would suggest him the individual sport like Chess, golf, Squash, tennis & badminton. If he is interested in one of the above one, then chess & golf are the best and no age hurdle here. as far as clarity, quality of programmes and presentation style goes, there is no match to espn star sports. despite of there being many other sports channels and all picking up well particularly clarity, while if you are a formula oe fan then star sports is what you would love to watch.these days tensports has started showing the champions league and they too have an outstanding clarity

For India, it is undoubatebly ESPN and star sports. The sporting events covered are varied, the quality is terrific and the commentry by and large reasonably good, except cricket. Star Sports is the better Sports channel than Ten Sports. Star Sports is a much experience channel than Ten Sports and the telecasting is also very good of Star Sports. I have seen this difference thats why i am telling. Let me give you an example here when i am watching cricket on Ten Sports and a wicket falls ad comes so quickly that i nev...er had a chance to watch the replay. This has not happen

i totally agree with you when you say we have champion players in other sports too but they are living in anonymity. crcket is a bit too over hyped in india. in contrast lack of proper facilities, infrastructure, funds and media hype has dissuaded the other sports from becoming popular in india. even good performances don't change the mindset of the people. its the saddest part.
