Of course a man with myopic power of 8 to 9 can see clearly with the help of specs.....althought the specs look too odd being very thick to accomodate the power.I have seen people of eye sight -18 on specs.but it is advisable to go for a laser assisted surgery called LASIK to correct ur vision once you cross -8....dear Praveen,The permissible eye sight is 6/6 to 18/6 with glasses is permissible.to see
