When is a good time to reboot servers, and why should servers be rebooted?

You should only reboot servers if you REALLY have to. For windows, it would be after ciritical patches by microsoft, device driver update, etc.For linux, you shouldnt reboot for installing any software. You should only reboot if you have hardware/software problems or you updated kernel which you would like to use right away.Of course you would have to ask yourself the question, does anybody care
