You can get good South Indian food from Udupi Krishna in Kamla Nagar Kohlapur Road, Sagar Ratna in Ashok Vihar, Opp DDA market;...You can try Udipi Krishna and Dwarka. Dwarka is frequented by students looking for a bargain meal. The pure vegetarian menu offers reasonably good South Indian fare such as Mysore Dosa and Tomato Uttapam.

North indian food is more of wheat based and south indian food is mainly rice based.Tammarind is used more in south indian food where as more of tomato based gravy in north indian food....oh lots.. it too broad a question. north and south indian food is totally different.
