you have to remove the write protection then! Most of the Pen drives do have small notch on the sides of the drive for write protection with lock/unlock symbol. When you like to write/copy any data to the drive, just move/slide the notch towards the Unlock position i.e. remove write protection which will allow you to do so and after successful file operations, you can slide it again to lock position.
