Yes sometimes Norton does not uninstall. But first you should try uninstalling by "Add or Remove Programs" in control Panel. If it doesnt works go to window explorer and delete folder of Norton anti virus...well Abhishek, There is no such problem with Norton it can be removed easily I have tried it many times. Actually there is another method to activate called Phone Activation for Norton Antivirus 2007 other than the online activation where it checks for legitimate key. Well Aryan , One suggestion from my side, in place of Norton you can use Nod32 which is more secure and widely used anti virus now a days.I am using it for both home and office.Nortan has some disadvantages. well, Kaspersky as an anti-virus is excellent. Its detection methods are much superior to Norton. Nortons database uses an exact copy of the viruses to cross check against with the files on your it and it eats away your RAM like crazy. Norton is pretty good for everyday use, but on my comp with 256 MB RAM, I had to chuck it in favour of PC-Cillin which though is not as good as Norton, it uses less memory

well, Generally, you remove applications by using the Windows utility for the task, but Norton Antivirus tends to get in a bit deeper into the system, so its tricker to remove it completely. Heres how you can do that: 1. Go to Start --> Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs. 2. Scroll down to your Norton program 3. Click Change --> Remove All. You will be asked to restart your PC. Do so
