that is able to take an astonishing 1,500 pictures per second. Optical mice are also quite beneficial in that they are easy to maintain and have no moving parts that are prone to failure. The goal of both laser mice and optical mice is to provide a way to transform the motion of your hand into digital signals your computer can use. The main difference between laser mice and optical mice is the type of light

be used under the mouse to run on.Optical:This type uses a laser for detecting the mouses movement. You dont need a mouse pad but you can use one made for optical mice. Optical mice do not have any mechanical moving parts. This type responds more quickly and precisely than the mechanical and optomechanical mice and now that they have been around awhile the price is pretty comparable.source site: http

wire that one can imagine to be the mouses tail, and the fact that one must make it scurry along a surface. As you move the mouse, the pointer on the display screen moves in the same direction. Mice contain at least one button and sometimes as many as three, which have different functions depending on what program is running. Some newer mice also include a scroll wheel for scrolling through long

Optical mice are the de facto standard for mice to communicate between the end user and the computer. The optical mouse is a great improvement over the mechanical mouse that was created in the early smoothly.Optical mice have several benefits over wheeled mice: No moving parts means less wear and a lower chance of failure. Theres no way for dirt to get inside the mouse and interfere with the tracking

Most wireless mice use radio frequency RF technology to communicate information to your computer. Being radio-based, RF devices require two main components: a transmitter and a receiver. Heres how to communicate, a wireless mouse signal can pass through barriers such as a desk or your monitor.RF technology provides a number of additional benefits for wireless mice. These include: RF transmitters require low

GUI. There are three basic types of mice: 1. mechanical: Has a rubber or metal ball on its underside that can roll in all directions. Mechanical sensors within the mouse detect the direction the ball. You must move the mouse along a special mat with a grid so that the optical mechanism has a frame of reference. Optical mice have no mechanical moving parts. They respond more quickly and precisely than

. For example, we have learned that liver cancer develops in other mammals that are naturally infected with hepatitis B virus-related viruses. Finally, by infecting transgenic mice with certain parts of the hepatitis B virus, scientists caused liver cancer to develop in mice that do not usually develop liver cancer. Transgenic mice are mice that have been injected with new or foreign genetic material. How does

A Optical mouse uses light to detect movement. It emits a light and senses its reflection as it is moved. Early optical mice required a special mouse pad, but todays devices can be rolled over.Increased tracking resolution means smoother response. They dont require a special surface, such as a mouse pad.Apple has transformed its optical mouse into a modern work of art.Although LED-based optical mice
