Court always ask for affidavit for statement. That is normal procedure. As far as mahila ayog is concerned, that is seperate thing and one may approach both places concurrently.

Lok Adalat whether Mahila or otherwise is for resolving disputes through mediations and consultations and not to pass orders based on evidences and law.Hence, if you both believe that you can be in premises of district court....i think mahila lok adalat is not consider any divorce case, but you may confirm it there.

You should never accept allegation for dowry and harassment, if you have not done any thing. If Mahila Ayog ask you about whether you want to keep your wife, then you should make clear that you have not done anything and even then she made false complaint, hence you can keep your wife only if she states before Mahila Ayog truth regarding the case and promise not to do so again.If she specifically states
