Restart and your partitions are restored with datas intact....well;First Way:By formatting and re-installing an OS onto that hard disk you will have over-written many files. The more you use the hard disk the more files are over-written.Whilst it is the case that formatting doesnt delete the files completely, I believe it only deletes the file
