Gingivitis is an early sign of gum disease..... signs are: swollen tender gums..... bleeding while brushing... itching gums .... do get ur teeth cleaned and polished every 6 months to avoid complications...If your gums are swollen and bleeding they become soft and red in colour instead of pink. It is because of muliplication of bacteria and proper oral hgiene that is regular brushing and flossing
