Anything that makes people sick/someones feelings can be hurt, or someone could get into trouble is definitely not a good trait. So no fun with Gossip. You can utilise your fruitful time rather than dumping into gossiping or listening to it. well i cant stop people gossiping behind me. so ignoring is the best way out... people will do it once, twice or may be thrice but when theyll see that i am not getting affected by it at all then theyll automatically stop doing it....Sometimes I confront the people spreading malicious gossip about anyone and tell them to repeat their words in front of the affected person, sometimes I ignore

Normally gossip is not such an action which attracts correction. However, if the limit of gossip crosses its limit and tends to create troubles in the family, then it has to be taken exceptionally and go for remedial measures. The immediate remedial measures would be for husband to stop encouraging his wife in unnecessary gossip. The wife should also be counseled about the demerits and its effects
