Hi...,Yes. Your windows xp will remain genuine after standalone SP3 installation.But instead of External Download and installation of SP3.., I would suggest to go for automatic updates for windows , which will upgrade you to SP3 plus all latest features.Best Luck.....it is possible..because u have genuine sp2 windows version..and if u upgrade it from microsoft website..the genuinity will be sure
