Dear vijay in our shastra only one time of doing gaya sharadha is there at the falguni river which comes into existence during these months,,so for every year doing shradha of your purvaja is requred but not at the gaya tata,only one time is requred ,,,for every year you can do at your home by feading kaak or by doing brahmin dan dakshina,...Some end Shraddha with one Gaya shraddha due to many reasons. ,,,,but with gaya it is mandatory atleast ones one should do terpan of purvaja at gayaji,,near falguni nadi,,,,the nagri of gayasur,,,,without doing terpan at gaya one can not be mukta from pitra rina......There are different views about this. Some say after Gaya Tarpan it is not necessary to do shradha. But in our family we do pitrutarpan every year & karkadaka amavasya, upto 3 generations.
