no problem. According to me, team is always bigger than individual players. No doubt, senior players like ganguly, dravid, kumble, laxman has done a tremendous contribution to Indian cricket and now also they are the great players and will remain great players forever for which I hatts off to them but if we want to look for future then may be after 3or4 years seniors players like dravid and ganguly might retire

Ganguly had captained the Indian team for 49 test matches and he is the only captain to captain the side for so many test matches compared to any other captain. Out of 49 tests 23 tests won and 13 the Indian team more than any other player....Winning percentage of Ganguly in Test cricket as a captain was 45 success and 23 loss and 32 no result. So the success ratio was better in terms of losing

series without being under the constant pressure of being left out of the team if he underperformed. I think recently there was a lot of pressure on Ganguly as he was having a really lean patch and he will take burden of his back and may be we will see him playing at his best in the series....I heard in news that Sourav Ganguly got a message that retire soon or else your daughter will be kidnapped & so

Ganguly is past his prime now. After this Sri Lankan tour, Ganguly, Dravid and Laxman should quietly announce their retirement from Test cricket also. They can find lucrative media assignments. They should move on now and allow Dhoni to build his Test and ODI team for the next five years. For 20-20, my vote is for Yuvraj....sorry dear . at this age it is difficult for ganguly even to find a place

Decision taken under pressure and due to humilatiing condition in the newspapers and media !Ganguly wanted to play for 2 years more but due to young talent competiton also he felt unsecured about his in 2006 against SOUTH AFRICA he has done very good, infact i think that he was on the peak of his test career,BUT inspite of this fact the selectors were continously geting on top of ganguly and putting him
