Well , Yes you are right.It is always good for something better even if you have to pay a bit more.You can go for 5000 bucks extra for a 1 mega pixel 1/6 CCD hard disk handycam sony It would be a better option for you as it would give me more storage space....I dont think just extra 1 mega pixel will make such a huge difference.I dont think is it worth shelling out 5ooo bucks extra for a 1 megapixel
