no!not at all!if my bf asks me for dowry i wil nt luk here n there n i wil jst leave him!i wil nt at all marry wid him!...Dowry is not an essential part of marriage. It is the husbands duty to take petty cash....No its a sin if the boys family demanding, its ok if the girls family giving in their own interest, pl keep this in mind if u receive dowry by demanding means u will loose ur self respect
