Well Anurag , both are more or less same thing.When you open a site , download starts from that time.Sites contain Written stuff text , pictures, videos , audio etc.When you open a sites ,all these stuff gets downloaded automatically.The MB / KB downloaded depends on how much stuff the site contains.Videos and audios, Pictures are more space consuming , so more downloads.Sites containing text
