you must format it before using it....in that "pc management" thing.. hopefully you mean "disk management" ...you should be able to right click it then select something thats not correctly set the master/slave/cable select jumper. So the computer/disk management couldnt detect your second hard disk properly. You can find the jumper settings in the hard disk manual. Also check the data
