connect the camera to the comp with the USB cable and see if photos are displayed on the comp ....if not ...then theres some serious problem......just pull out the card from camera and attach u r card the old photos if you want to delete.this problem comes when virus detecs your camera...Its simple. I think you must be knowing this. You can transfer all the images in the computer via Card Reader
