....Function Overloading means a function having same names but able to do diffrent functions, in case of function overloading the Function name is same but the parameter decleration should be diffrent, the return type may be same or diffrent, for method overloading to take place the two methods with the same name but diffrent parameter decleration should be inside the same class ... for exampleusing JAVA, i dont know C

be done either usong method overloading, interfaces and dynamic method dispatch. .... a method can be overloaded if there are 2 or more methods with the same name but with diffrent parameters decleration are diffrent,.... now if we can use this class A to return two diffrent things a sqaure and a cube of a number by using the same method name ... i.e same name but with diffrent functions .... likewise
