Bus is a common pathway between resources and devices. In a computer, there are two major types: the system bus and peripheral bus. The system bus, also known as the "frontside bus" or "local bus," is the internal path from the CPU to memory and is split into address bus and data bus subsets. Addresses are sent over the address lines to signal a memory location, and data

Bus topology is a network topology in which all network nodes and peripheral devices are attached to a single conduit....WELL, TO UNDERSTAND BUS TOPOLOGY ONE CAN KNOW WHAT THE TOPOLOGY IS information between workstations. There are four principal topologies used in LANs. bus topology: All devices are connected to a central cable, called the bus or backbone. Bus networks are relatively

well manir, Bus Duct is a collection of busbars, in an enclosed unit, that distributes large amounts of electrical power. In industrial infrastructures/applications, conductor bars are assembled with insulators in grounded enclosures. This assembly, known as bus duct, can be used for connections to large switchgear or for bringing the main power feed into a building. A form of bus duct known as plug-in bus

A collection of wires through which data is transmitted from one part of a computer to another. You can think of a bus as a highway on which data travels within a computer. When used in reference to personal computers, the term bus usually refers to internal bus. This is a bus that connects all the internal computer components to the CPU and main memory. Theres also an expansion bus that enables

While the wheels on the bus may go round and round, data on a computers bus goes up and down. Each bus inside a computer consists of set of wires that allow data to be passed back and forth. Most computers have several buses that transmit data to different parts of the machine. Each bus has a certain size, measured in bits such as 32-bit or 64-bit, that determines how much data can travel across

In computer architecture, a bus bidirectional universal switch is a subsystem that transfers data or power between computer components inside a computer or between computers, and a bus typically is controlled by device driver software. Unlike a point-to-point connection, a bus can logically connect several peripherals over the same set of wires. Each bus defines its set of connectors to physically plug

/CompOrg/tr istat e.html..."Hi. From the web. "many devices always produce output such as registers and these devices are hooked to a bus, we need a way to control what gets on the bus, and what doesnt.A triCirric has the basic information covered. A tri-state device is typically used for connecting any device which will be placing data onto a bus.For instance, RAM in a bus oriented system is technically a tri

-performance I/O bus that can be configured dynamically for use in devices with high bandwidth requirements. Most current PCI cards are half-sized or smaller. There are a number of variations of PCI, including in length to fit into smaller slots where space is an issue. Like the full-size PCI, the short PCI is a high-performance I/O bus that can be configured dynamically for use in devices with high bandwidth
