Either he sholud be played in top three or he should be replaced by players like Manoj Tiwari who can bowl and bat in lower order....Its a foolish thing..if they gave a gud oppurtunities to youngsters,they should promote to at no-2,3or4....Its a sheer waste to play Robin at No 8, instead India should go in with five specialist bowlers if he is made to bat

i think that he is one of the finest players when concentrating on bowling his batting is a natural gift to him but i still think that it is not the same pathan which we saw in pakistan last to last, Kapil and Dhoni....Irfan is still a bowler he has still to develop his bowling abilities he has to keep on concentrating upon it and as far as batting is concerned it comes naturally to him

No he should not play up the order because if his wicket spares then India would get the benefit of the long batting order. This point is been prooved in the 8th ODI.......I wont take this option off gives an aadv of a LH Batsman and on crease a L / R combo which can be useful if a Left hander gets out early. But on seaming and bouncy conditions like Aus and Eng, he should bat low down the order

to comment on Praveen kumar. He looks promising while bowling. In batting need to improve and if he does that then India team has found another all rounder.. Praveen kumar performance on flat tracks need to be seen. But I think he has good skill but need to be more consistently in batting and bowling as well. :...From what i saw of Praveen Kumar in Adelaide I get the feeling that he is someone like Robin Singh
