well,In antenna design, gain is the logarithm of the ratio of the intensity of an antennas radiation pattern in the direction of strongest radiation to that of a reference antenna. If the reference antenna is an isotropic antenna, the gain is often expressed in units of dBi decibels over isotropic. For example, a dipole antenna has a gain of 2.14 dBi [1...]. Sometimes, the dipole antenna is used

cHelical antenna. A helical antenna is an antenna consisting of a conducting wire wound in the form of a helix. In most cases, helical antennas are mounted over a ground plane. Helical antennas can operate in one of two principal modes: normal broadside mode or axial or endfire mode....Helical antennaA helical antenna is an antenna consisting of a conducting wire wound in the form of a helix. of signal-absorbing waterwe call human beings. But the antennas on your gateway can cause trouble, too. Even the best antenna cant radiate a perfect sphere of signal strength.Once youve ruled out obvious-called omnidirectional antennas can be highly directional, so that a gateway hung on a wall might send its signal into the ceiling and floor. Each time you reposition the gateway or antenna, recheck the signal strength

on your equipment to avoid interference.upgrade the antenna on your router or access point. WiFi antennas on most wireless base stations can be removed and replaced with more powerful ones.add another WiFi signal amplifier sometimes called "signal booster" attaches to a router, access point or Wi-Fi client at the place where the antenna connects. Bi-directional antennas amplify

The UP 7 antenna is a very good choice for your location. However, I feel obligated to tell you that we just tested the UP-7 head to head with our new EZ-HD TV antenna using a field strength meter. Comparing apples to apples we found the smaller EZ-HD antenna performed every bit as good as the UP-7 antenna. The benefit here is the EZ-HD is about half the size of the UP 7, and it cost 40 less.Bottom line

Phased array antennas are electrically steerable, which means the physical antenna can be stationary. This concept can eliminate all the headaches of a gimbal in a radar system. It can keep an antenna locked onto a satellite, when the antenna is mounted on a moving platform. It is what allows a satellite to steer its beam around your continent without having to deal with the "slight problem

service delivered to a consumer through satellite. DTH transmission is received directly on the consumers TV set through a small dish antenna unlike with a regular cable connection. The encrypted and the multiplexer mixes these signals. At the user end, there will be a small dish antenna and set-top boxes to decode and view numerous channels. On the users end, receiving dishes can be as small as 45 cm

Check with your cable or satellite provider if you have questions about your service...After February 17, 2009, all full-power TV stations are required to cease analog broadcasts. After that date, consumers who rely on antennas including outside antennas or inside antennas to receive broadcast

efficient; some power isalways lost in the conversion process. Usually this loss is manifested in the form ofheat. Some antennas approach 100-percent efficiency. A well-designed antennasupplied with 100 watts of radio frequency RF power radiates 80 or 90 watts in the form of an electromagnetic field.A few watts are dissipated as heat in the antenna conductors, the feed lineconductors and dielectric

Mart&237; in Florida, their signals were interfering with a radio station in Iowa. Consequently, AM signals are often subject to regulations such as the use of directional antennae or reduced power, this limits the coverage area of a FM channel. The size of the coverage area depends on the height of the transmission antenna, which is often located at the top of very tall buildings. At the fringe
