Charu, the roles were different and were needed to be portrayed in different fashion. While the first part of the movie belonged to Abhishek, the second part was carried forward by Amitabh. Both of them did well on their part.The only issue with Abhisheks performance was that his character was supposed to look intense while it looked angry for most portion of the movie....amitabh is better

I think Abhishek Bachhan is a much better actor than John Abraham, as the emotions, the way he handles various roles, depth in the acting, is much more than the later.So I think, first is much better than the second....Both have own position in the film industry. Both are very good his own criteria...but i think Abhishek is far better from John. We got hits from Abhishek. So, I will go for Abhishek
