I have reservation with two other frez of mine..i want to cancel my ticket so is it possible to cancel my ticket only ,without cancelling their ticket?

yes it is possible... if it is e ticket go to irctc site... click on cancel e ticket.. click on check box of person who do not want to travel.
if it is regular ticket purchased from window... visit reservation center... fillup the form with one pessanger name whose ticket u want to cancel...
