He is a talended batsman he does not get enough opportunity to prove himself and score at No.8. With his technique & temprament I see no reason why he should not be batting right up the order.

Robin Uthapa at No. 8 is a tricky position as he WOULDN'T be having any back up for his own styled power play ....... for 20-20 matches maybe OK but for one day I prefer to see him at somewhere 4 to 6.

Robin Uthappa should open the innings for India or bat at no.3 because of the range of shots he has , it would be excellent for India if he comes out to bat in powerplays.

Hello Ravi sir, I believe that Robin Uthappa should open the innings for India or bat at no.3 because of the range of shots he has , it would be excellent for India if he comes out to bat in powerplays.
Consistantly sending Uthappa to bat at no.8 would soon ruin his career and India would miss a very special player.

ITS NOT GOOD THAT ROBIN IS SENT IN 8TH PLACE HE SHOULD BE SENT FOR 3RD POSITION HE IS GOOD BATSMAN BEFORE ROBIN SING WAS ALSO GOOD BATSMAN HE WAS NOT GIVEN CHANCE IN INDIA CRI TEAM THEY RE DOING SAME TO UTHAPPA

Robin at 8 is wasted, he is a young talented batsmen. In my opinion he should open the innings with Sachin & Sehwag should bat at 4 this will add more strenght to batting line up with Yuvraj & Dhoni to follow.

Absoutely USELESS,
player with such a positive attitude and throught his cricketing career played facing new ball.
We are wasting his abilities as he can be one of the biggest asset of the powerplays
