HI......Mantra is an invocation or a mystical formula, which aids the person to release the self and attain bliss and ultimate fulfillment. The sounds involved in a Mantra are themselves significant for they generate in the individual an unusual mystic power. Mantra produces a set of vibration in the surrounding atmosphere & its force depends on the attitude of the person as well as the intensity of concentration.
Mantras are performed through faith, the results of which cannot be analyzed measured, weighed, seen but are felt. The force of Mantra can be only felt. It should be performed with due faith and all rituals, then it is fruitfull. You must have complete faith in Mantra you are reciting and must know its meaning. Do the things as per prescribed methods. You will experience sensation and vibrations during or at the end of Japa, this is a sufficient proof to believe. Mantra requires faith, Japa, hard work ad per laid dictums to realize the desired objects and vibrations. Each Mantra has a different use, The vibrations of sound create desired reactions within the body too.
Recitation of Mantras with a prescribed number of times at different timings to give desired results. There are three ways to perform Mantra
UPANSU JAPA: It is the method where Japa is done very slowly so that nobody can hear it. Only lip movement should be there.
MANSIC JAPA : The Japa carried out only in the heart without any sound or lip movements.
VACHNIK JAPA : In this method you can recite the mantra in a low, medium or high tone of your sound.

Sit comfortably on chair or on mat on the floor. Maintaining your spine erect.
Do 5 minute this simple breathing excersice to center your self.
Exhale and empty your lungs completely
Inhale slowly through your Nostrils,filling your lungs from thier base. Feel how your stomach expands as thier air goes in and how the middle and the upper portion of your lungs become filled successively. Avoid raising or moving your shoulders during inhalation.
Exhale thru your mouth in smooth and continous breath.
To increase the benefits of this excersice, you should establish a rhytm, making your exhalation last twice as long as your inhalation. Exp; If your inhalation last four seconds, your exhalation should last eight seconds.
Once you have completed the breathing excersice, Start simpel prayer stating your wish. If you chanting the "Kubera mantra", please make wish like " i have abundant wealth and it is growing day after day" or something that you wish for. The wish should be focus on what you want (do not use negative words), try compose as though you already have it .
Start chanting the mantra mentally , chant and listen to the power that flowing thru the crown chakra, it advice you focus at crown chakra while chanting and slowly bring down your attention to the whole body.
As you chant, you can feel vibration thru out your body (this are for sensitive people but not neccesary mean if not having vibration it not effective). allow yourself to be carried away by the transcendental vibration of your mantra. Feel how it absorbs time and place until it encompassses the whole world and expand to the universe.
There are no limitation to the chanting of mantra, but minimum time is 20 minute or 108 times. Try to fix a regular time and try do it in very counductive enviroment, light up candles , insences and quiet place.
