hi!!
well what i think is dat it really don't matter where u place ur mandir, on bathroom wall or on kitchen wall!!
all what maters is dat the location of mandir should be nice and clean,
i hope u r understanding, the mandir should be in a place where while praying u do not get disturbed ok.
while praying peace is most important so i suggest that u should place mandir in ur bed room because there outsiders enters less frequently, but it depends on u dat how clean is ur bed room and how many people enters there.
now u get the basics so go and find a nice place 4 ur mandir and hope dat ur god bless u.

it is not gud for the place of god.
it should b placed somewhere in the center of the house

According to vaastu...mandir should never be placed on

1.bathroom wall or facing bathroom
2. Avoid putting mandir in bedroom also

Best place for mandir will be north - east side of the house. If u have a study room kind of place in ur house.....put mandir there on north east angle............it is the best for your studies or profession.
