like Iraq....Democracy is not understood and implemented with conviction in INDIA. Its moreover an autocracy where all mighty and powerful people controls the country. No matter that Indians of population votes against democracy as voting percentage has always been less than 50 percent in every state. I am British but we have many migrants from India and Pakistan living here and I have studied the history of the region. Both countries were part of the British empire until 1947. So they had a and it got split in two. India was in the middle with the 2pakistan bits on either side,1000s of miles apart. Both India and pakistan were meant to be democracies but India proved better at this than Pakistan
