It is a natural behaviour of your friend's son.It is because he thinks that his father dont love them thats why he left them and on his part son is right.If he really would have loved him he shouln't had left his family.NOw let the son free ffor a few days .He will think about it again and again and he will slowly accept the condition but still ask your friend to talk to him timely and console him that he loves his son will always available for him any time with every respect whether his son talks badly to him still he has to keep patience..It will take time.

well if that bou is mature then you have to go to him and tell him

respect your father's feelings

he is your father

tell him importance of him in his father''s life

as a frnd you hav to do this

if boy is too small to understand all these..then use different approach to convince him

all you need do to is effort for your divorced frnd's life
