see dear ,the diseased fish can be identified by observing behavioral changes in your aquarium some of the common symptom in all fishes are unnatural movement ,slow swimming,sometimes the will lie down on the gravel bed and they drift to surface for taking oxygen directly from air , fins will grow thinner, difficulty in moving there fins ,body area specially around fins will turn red ,fins will start disintegrating ,blood vessels around fins would clearly visible and begin to swell ,some of spots like of poppy seeds appears on the body of fishes ,there is also fading occurs around mouth area and they begin to gasp on surface ,rubbing themselves against uneven surfaces of rocks ,they will lose color , loss of appetite ,the scales began to fall ,skeleton of fish would appear to be bend etc. although the symptom would depend on the type of disease and parasite but these are the symptom if you see in your fish they should be taken seriously.
