what is famous here, will depend on the era in which u see...if we check the famous places of ancient and mediaeval's era then there r some quite famous places .
1. ashok's tower and its famous sculptute of three lion face ...tat is our national symbol.
2. Vaishali was the oldest follower of democracy .
3.Here is the Nalanda university and for good govt . is rebuilding it .
4. Bodhgaya . Well it is still famous.
5. Rajendra prasad is from this state only .
6. Champaran is also here.
7. Buddhism and Jain religion started from this place .
8. Don't forget Ashoka and Chanakya

I think there r some more places and thing like this ....but for the modern old or wat we care right now that is good economy , or a good company there is none .
But we (biharis) r securing more places in the reputed examination ,so i can say this also a thing we should remember.


we also produce best quality of liichi . and right now Lallu prasad is most popular . His name is a synonym for Bihar.

Bihar is famous for it's historic monuments & places like Nalanda,Rajgir,Bodhgaya,Vaisha li..........for it's gr8 food ,like litti-chokha etc.
for it's festivals like Chaat..............and moreover it's intellectual ppl. ,who have added glory to d state.
