my sister is nine years old she sucks here thumb how to make her leave the habit?  

Put some powderd chili in a cloth tied to her thumb.Since she is already nine years old, she needs counselling.

sucking thumb is such a habit that is really hard to stop. i know few people who are still into the habit of sucking thumb at the age of 19 and other even after her marriage! u can put neem paste on her thumb so that whenever she sucks she will dislike the taste and refrain from sucking.

get her a dummy plaster,,tell her dat she is gonna lose her thumb by sucking,,medicating her fingers is no help as she is big enough 2 clean her hands

you should always point her for this habit always when you see and you can have some chillies on her thumb so that she don't suck that.

Give her Lollipop when she sucks her thumb or slap her cheeks lightly.

sucking a thumb is a part of an attitude, might be due to a variety of factors which need to be found out. the major is ofcourse unsurety or unconfident within. just try to keep her involved with issues related to her age and some adventure and sports you will notice a remarkable dicourse... good luck

she is just a too enter adolsent age dont make her stop from this doing it she will leave her self foecing her lead to disaster consequences psucho prob like hysteria so dont worry leave her own way
