We usually run commands in command prompt.....are we really run commands on DOS OS by typing commands in command prompt?......plz answer me.m very confuse......

Every computer is designed to have some initial o.s. Normally is DOS OPERATING SYS. Before installing anything in the system we need it. Initially we install or execute everything in this O.S. All commands are also executed under it. Even to install windows also we have to take help of DOS os. But when we install any other o.s then with it we automatically install upgraded version of DOS which will run under the installed os for better performence. So when ever we type any command under windows DOS then it will execute in dos but under windows control.

we r able to control functions os through command prompt .
all operations like we an open a file ,music ,soft wares

using dos we can reduce of effected by virus because we r not opening files directly
