The question of legalising prostitution is itself a oxymoron,i know no country other than Holand where it is legalised ,and still there also, the law is being used to cover the influx of east eaoropian girls who are flocking there to avoid poverty in their respective countries .The point remains ,prostitution is anti-women;and in not in any being hyper moralist one can safely say its in every way is repressive to the women who had to go through this. And off -late lot of money is being poured in anti aids campaign,it has became a good business and all talk legalising prostitution stems from this lobby, who has a vested interest in it.But ,prostition is a reality and govt and civil society should deal with that in healthy manner, but legalising it is not an option,as it will make force applied now on women legalised.but our law to curb it,is highly unrealistc and smells of colonial hang over,it should be modernised to meet new challenges.
