Hi Ruhi,
PNR status stands for “passenger name record” and tells you what is your current position on the waitlist (WL) or on reservation against cancelation (RAC) queue.
If you buy WL or RAC ticket, you receive a unique 10 digit number which allows you to check your current Irctc PNR status. And it is changing as much as other passengers cancel their tickets or upgrade them to upper class.
